Short Biography

Brig Gen A N M Foyezur Rahman, ndc, psc received the B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (CE) from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Mirpur in 2004 and M.Sc. in Environment Engineering, Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Mirpur in 2020. Currently he is undergoing his PhD in Civil Engineering (CE), from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka.

He was commissioned in Corps of Engineers, Bangladesh Army in 1995 as Second Lieutenant. He has served in various command, staff and instructional appointment in Bangladesh Army. As command, he has commanded 8 Engineer Battalion as Commanding Officer.  He served as General Staff Officer Grade-1 (Senior Research Fellow) in National Defense College (NDC), School of Infantry and Tactics (SI&T) as Directing Staff Tactics Wing, Army Head Quarter QMG’s Br, M&Q Directorate as Additional Director and Movement Quarter (ADMQ). He served as Assistant Director General (ADG), Head Quarters 34 Engineer Construction Brigade. Director Works and Chief Engineers, Bangladesh Navy, Before joining MIST as Senior Instructor he Completed his National Defense Course-2024 from NDC. He also did his 1st UN Mission as Contingent member at BANENGR-3, UNMIL, Liberia and 2nd UN Mission as Platoon Commander, BANENGR-3, MONUSCO DR Congo.

Here to mention that Brig Gen A N M Foyezur Rahman, ndc, psc also served MIST in year 2020-2022 as an Instructor/Head of the Department, EWCE Department. He has published some research papers in different journals. He supervised undergrad thesis students.
