RESEARCH INTERESTS
Research Domain:
1. Automatic power stations design, substations design, transmission and distribution system design using software (ETAP and modern software tools).
2. Underwater electricity transmission and submarine power cable. Low cost Power Supply to an isolated/remote Islands.
3. Underground substations and underground transmission line, stability and protection.
4. Power line communications on a High Voltage long distance transmission line.
5. Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) system with coding and diversity over Free Space Optical (FSO) channel and FSO communication.
6. Wireless communications and OCDMA FSO communications with space-time diversity (SISO, SIMO, MISO and MIMO system/configuration) through atmospheric turbulence and pointing error using different coding techniques and modulation formats.
7. Multi-wavelength OCDMA WDM/DWDM communications through atmospheric attenuations and pointing error etc. using different modulation formats.
